Acoustic ceilings in a modern learning facility

Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai is envisioned the be a positive and healthy learning environment that encourges independence, informal and creative meetings as well as socialization and participation. Knauf DANOLINE acoustical ceilings have been installed in classrooms and meeting rooms to optimize acoustic comfort and boost learning.

The architect chose Contur+ which is our acoustical ceiling tile installed in a concealed T-grid. The perforation extends to the edge of the tile offering a monolithic yet fully demountable ceiling surface.      

  • The gypsum acoustic ceilings help minimise distractions and lower stress levels amongst students in the classroom.
  • All meeting rooms are installed with acoustic ceilings to ensure a calm and comfortable sound environment.
